For clarity, simplicity and in order not to further enrich the lawyer confraternity, the Basso guarantee in simple english is simply this - if within FIVE YEARS of delivery the door or window or other artifact proves defective in materials or in manufacture, Basso will  replace the item. 

Basso will also pay for shipping and installation of the replacement item.

Repeated another way - we Guarantee our products for FIVE YEARS (5) from the date of delivery.

That's it. Simple. Clear. No Ifs or Buts.

At time of purchase, BASSO will supply an INSTALLATION AND STORAGE MANUAL free of charge with all products.

The Guarantee does not cover -

  • If the product has been installed by unskilled workers and defects in their work can be shown. 
  • Defects caused by fittings supplied by the client.
  • Problems caused by infiltration between the product and the building walls.
  • Problems caused by infiltration between the glass and the glass-frames because of poor or defective puttying or incorrect installation of the glass.
  • Defects caused by Painting or other outer finishes.
  • Defective or incorrect size glass panes.
  • Problems in the products caused by ill use or bad maintenance particularly cracks or defects cause by the lack of, or improper application of the protective paints.
  • Problems in the products caused by accidents on site or during transport or damage caused by storage on site, or any other third party actions.
