Legal Notice

Sadly the world is full of persons who are less than 100% honest - liars,  con artists who use lines such as 'I trust you, you must trust me' and the rest of the sorry lot - which is why we have to have such things as this legal notice, so the bad guys don't get to rig trumped-up crooked law suits against us decent folk to try and gouge some easy money out of us with the help of crooked slimy dishonest lawyers. 

Hey - who shouted 'tautology'!???

One person has claimed that - since he has the very original and unique name of 'John' and that he recently started spruiking in my local town, that HE is the one and only Spruiker John  and that he DEMANDS that I should not use HIS name without his written permission. Yes, I'm afraid that such is his level of intelligence ... I have met smarter pond scum and certainly more agreeable. And I have to say that I have never had pond scum try to con me.

To make the matter quite clear - 'Spruiker John' is a brand or logo, the full property of it's sole creator and originator, Hugh O'Connor, of Boorolong  NSW  2350, trading as The Best in the Business; who generated all of the existing original artwork and copy and associated trades materials connected with this brand or logo or trading name. Copyright in these creative names and associated creative art and copy is claimed by the same Hugh O'Connor, as indicated by copyright notices on these webpages and elsewhere. So also are the brand names or logos and associate art, copy etc of 'Barker John' and 'Honest John' created and originated and owned by Hugh O'Connor.

And so, in order to cover myself legally I am obliged to state clearly in this publication that my brand name / logo 'Spruiker John' does not refer to or have anything to do with Mr John Morrow of 11 Drummond Avenue, Armidale. I have nothing to do with that person, and I wish to have nothing to do with that person, and I most earnestly wish that I had never had anything to do with that person. 

Likewise that worthy is not referred to by my other brand name / logo 'Barker John'.

And I have to indicate some satisfaction that the fine Mr Morrow did not have to gall to even suggest that he was being referred to by my other brand name / logo of 'Honest John', thereby demonstrating that even his unmitigated hide has perhaps some limit. It could also be that he simply does not understand or recognise the term, of course, but I do not make any comment or imputation whatever on that worthy's level of education or integrity.
